Even through the miles, we still remain friends
So it will be my first plane ride ever, but I am excitedbut a lil nervous at the same. As a new freshman at Georgia Southern I knew no one. I felt like I had started over. When I first walked in to the Baptist Union, I was a shy, very nervous girl. Little did I know I would meet some of the greatest friends I had ever known. Such great friends. They were mostly a couple of years older than me but were SOME of the greatest friendships I would encounter. We all had to go our separate ways when three of them graduated in December of 2007 I believe, then shortly after I moved off and then more graduated to follow. No matter what we have remained friend. Thats what God gives us a bod of friendships. Even if we don't talk on a regular basis or see each other very much, God has provided us with friendships we will cherish even through the miles. Now in the summer and New Years we try to get togetehr somewhere different each year. Tomorrow we are flying to Kentucky to spend the week with Megan. What a great bunch of friends and I am sure it will a trip I will never forget.
