NEW YEARS...

Well what can I say.. Kentucky is BEAUTIFUL.. I rang in the New Year with some of the most precious friends ever. I do miss my friends back home though: Kim and others and also my great boyfriend Alex, but I bet they are doing amazing. Megan R., Megan B., Becca, Morgan, Brandi, and Aisha are the friends I am spending New Years with. We have several friends that couldn't make it and we miss them dearly. WE LOVE YOU ALL TOO!!! This week we have ventured to try a cute lil coffee shop and lil baker called the FUZZY DUCK. It is also a book store. We love it. We have taken so many pictures that we could make a complete scrap book and the week is not even over yet..lol. I believe that God puts people in our lives for a reason and we have people in our lives who are like angels. Several of my friends have made an impact in my life and one in particular's name is Megan. I am blessed to spend this week with her and many others. I believe God puts a special individual in our lives to plant a seed and then when they have to move on it is not necessarily a bad thing, but rather we can pass on that "Legacy"to someone else and the cycle continues. Friends are like angels and even though they may not be seen, a "TRUE" friend does have wings. Those wings are hearts and shoulders that we can lean on and put words into. Their "WINGS" so-to-speak, lift us up and give us that extra lift off the ground to keep us above the rest. Then when we ourselves receive our wings, we can lift somene else off the ground and carry them too. .. In life God sends us those angels to show us that, even though life is not perfect and in all the worldly corruptions, there are still friends or angels that are always beside us, sparkling in the sunlight with their glistening heart and reminding us that we are never alone. God, with his still small voice and also our friends loud voices, remind us that we will always have our memories even through the miles. A true friendship can withstand anything. If you want it to work out no matter what it will and if it is a friendship that has God first and foremost it definately will. Our friendships here started with God as our forcus for being there. We all met at the Baptist Union several years ago and even though we have been through graduations, moves in all different states, a soon to be marriage and much more to come, we still have three things in common:memories, Love, and most importantly.... GOD.
